The fifth week of the Gospel edition of The Voice Factory, Citi FM’s talent hunt competition, saw contestants minister in pairs for the first time.

Tagged the 'Team Spirit' edition of The Voice Factory, the three judges, KK Kabobo, Edinam Bright Davis and JB Allotey, commended the contestants, especially when they paired up to minister duet versions of selected songs.
JB Allotey, for one, beamed with smiles as he highlighted the goose bumps some of the ministrations gave him.

Edinam was particularly swept away by the pairing of Michelle Amankwa and Natasha Odoi and hailed the contestants saying “They all gave everything. I can’t wait to hear more from them in the coming weeks.”

Following the eviction of Carl Selasie and Gerard Amavi, the remaining contestants for this edition's Voice Factory are: Natasha Odoi, Maame Abena Ankomaa, Elizabeth Joseph, Ohenewaa Williams, Godslove Cudjoe, Kwenorkie Adela, Kakra Mills Robertson and Michelle Amankwaah.
The number will be thinned further as listeners were given 24 hours to vote for any contestant of their choice via Facebook and Twitter. The judges will as usual, have a 70 percent say on who stays in the contest, with the listeners' votes accounting for 30 percent.

As well as ministering the gospel with their performances, they will be performing with the ultimate prize, of GHc 5,000 in sight.

On Wednesday, the July 20 edition of the Traffic Avenue, the results from the judges and the social media votes will be announced, and one of the remaining eight contestants will be eliminated.
