On Sunday June 26, 2016, the ten contestants of Citi FM's Voice Factory, 2016 edition, performed for the judges for the first time. The judges were largely impressed, although a few mistakes were pointed out.
After the show, listeners were given 24 hours to vote for any contestant, whose singing had “touched” them, via Facebook and Twitter.
The judges have a 70% say on who stays in the contest, while listeners possess 30% of the voting power.

On Wednesday June 29, the results from the judges and the social media votes will be announced and one of the ten finalists will be eliminated.
It is difficult to predict who will be given the boot, when one listens to the comments of the judges.
But the hours leading to the big announcement, will surely be tense for these ten aspiring Gospel stars and their fans.
Just tune in to the Traffic Avenue on Wednesday, when Jessica will announce who moves on to the next stage.
This edition of the Voice Factory is the third and has been dubbed, 'The Gospel Edition.'
The ten finalists are all aiming at winning the ultimate prize, of GHc5000.
