Accra, Ghana – 20th February 2014 – Award winning Afro Neo-Soul singer Efya is hoping to add to her already impressive collection of accolades with her recent nominations in the 2014 World Music Awards.
Efya, who already has an impressive winning streak in her native Ghana winning the coveted BFV in the Ghana Music Awards 4 times in three years, was excited for receiving five nominations and is confident she has what it takes to win the awards
“We worked really hard,” beamed Efya, “to even be nominated for the same award with acts such as Adele, Beyoncé & Rihanna is humbling and a victory itself, but all the same I really want to win this!”
The five categories Efya was nominated in were “World's Best Female Artist”, “World's Best Video”, “World's Best Entertainer of the Year”, “World's Best Song” and voting is presently ongoing on the website, WorldMusicAwards.com.
