FOLLOWING HER outstanding performance at the 4Syte Music Video Awards nominees' jams held at the forecourt of the Kumasi Sports Stadium, female Dancehall artiste AK Songstress is being sought-after by some producers who see a lot of potential in her .
AK's performance at the show attracted a standing ovation, especially when she began performing one her favourite dancehall songs.
She told BEATWAVES, 'I am bringing nothing but the best of music. I want to make sure I break boundaries. I am going to set a record'.
Last Friday, two music producers who witnessed Ak's stage performance negotiated with her with the aim of signing a deal with her but she refused the offer with the excuse that she had already signed a juicy contract with Paradise Entertainment which is currently working on her album.
BEATWAVES gathered that, a newly established music production house, Klassic Entertainment based in Kumasi is also working tirelessly behind closed doors to grab her.
Though the money involved in the deals is significant, AK feels she should not rush to append her signature to the contract because she has a lot to do in terms of business and also she is satisfied with the contract she has signed with Paradise Entertainment based in Accra.
Another seasoned producer, BEATWAVES learnt, has visited AK's parents to plead with them to convince their daughter to accept his proposal to sign her on.
Her performance during the 4Syte Music Video Awards nominees' jam put her splendour ahead of most of her colleagues in the music industry.
What has kept her shinning on the Ghanaian music scene has been her untiring determination to reach the top.
AK's musical prowess is comparable with that of international big stars like Sean Paul, Shaggy and a host of others.
According to some of the stakeholders in the music industry, AK Songstress, who is gifted and talented in both singing and dancing, is ready to exhibit her creative talents to the world.
With her presence in the music scene, AK Songstress has promised to run things in a different dimension with her Dancehall music with support from the management of Paradise Entertainment which sees her as a force to reckon with.
AK Songstress, who is a new entrant in the music industry and was discovered a few years back by Paradise Entertainment, has promised to take Ghanaian music to another level.
The beautiful and sexy young artiste disclosed that she embraced her musical talent at a very tender age and has never looked back, adding that based on her creativity and stage craft, she was poached by Paradise Entertainment, a record label known for building talented music icons into international brands.
