The traditional authority later retired to the palace and then sat in state to receive homage by his people and other invited dignitaries from all over the country, some of whom offered gifts in the form of agricultural produce, such as yams, vegetables, poultry products and sheep.

The management of Millicom Ghana Limited, owners of Tigo Communication Company, led by Mr. Michael Adinbaruk, the Northern Territory Manager, was also there to show their solidarity with the people, by donating a cheque for GHC3, 000.00 and other assorted Tigo products.
