After combing through over 2,000 applicants and cutting it down to 20 semi-finalists, the top 10 finalists for the tenth edition of Miss Malaika Ghana were revealed at mini finals at the studios of Gh One Entertainment Television, over the weekend.
After introducing themselves to the judges and the public, and making a short presentation each, on the projects they hoped to embark when chosen as Miss Malaika 2012, the judges' scores were tallied with public votes sent via text messages and appeals on social media.
The top 10 finalists were Aisha Walon, Frances Ackles, Edlyn Nuno, Emmanuella Enyonam Dotse, Bridget Sharon Cofie, Ama Ampofo, Regina Anne Dei Van-Helvert, Sonia Leeyen, Sadia Sanusi, and Rosemary Anima Awuku.
The next stages would present the most exciting challenge to the 10 finalists who would try to impress the general public and the judges on their chosen charity tasks.
The public would vote for their favourite finalist on short code 1757 as the series run 8:00 p.m. every Sunday, on GH One .
