Things got really interesting in the house Wednesday night when the king introduced a new task. Each of the maidens was to impersonate a local public figure in a speech presentation. Surprisingly Princy 'Kuffour' was not the best performance and one could only wonder where her acting skills had gone.
It all started with the king reliving the 'Osagyefo's' independence speech. While the message was there; one cannot say it was a good playback of the speech. Indeed it left a lot to be desired.
Chichi played Nana Akuffo Addo and did a rather long speech trying to reproduce his English stained accent. While she may have tried her best, one cannot say that was the best either.
Promzy's Kofi Wayo was rather long and complicated which is actually characteristic of the man himself. She did not forget to tag in his famous “I grew up in America” piece. She did quite well if showmanship was to be considered.
Gifty's attempt at Atta Mills was lame and probably got His Excellency turning on his death bed wondering if that was really how incoherent he was in his public speeches.
Favor's Rawlings was many light years away from impressive. Whiles the maidens claimed they enjoyed themselves playing the various characters; it is hard to say whether the audience did. Fortunately, being able to impersonate a public figure is not one of the things that will be required of a wife. And as we slowly get to the end of another week, the end of the show itself is drawing closer and this week's eviction will certainly set the tone.
