MISS AFRICA TRI STATE PAGEANT 2012

The second Annual Miss Africa Tri State held on Saturday June 16th, 2012 at the Clinton Banquet Hall New Jersey was a huge success. With the long roll call of dignitaries, celebrities, and Leaders both from the USA and Africa. From the very special Guests; Hon. Barr. Yeye Olasehinde Vincete - Member House of Assembly Ondo State Nigeria. Rep. Christophe Adjovi - Government official from the Republic of Benin. The office of the Council man and newly elected congressman Donald Payne. The African Commission. All the way from South Africa the famous screenwriter of SARAFINA- Mbongeni Ngema. The all star award winning producers, directors, and all the celebrity judges that helped picked the new Queen.

Adding more cream to the night were Director Bethels Agomouh , Actress Summer Angel , Producers Oliver Mbamara and Moses Adedeji , Jude Away-Away international comedian.

The beautiful ladies were all deserving of the crown with each lady delivering a good performance and elegance. At the end of the night, Ms. Joyce Oppongwah of GHANA was crowned by the outgoing Queen Yolanda Masinga of South Africa. The first runner up was Ms. Seun Onibiyo of Nigeria, While the second runner up was Liberia's Lia Dahn. There were other categories that were recognized as well. The Miss Personality contest went to Ms. Lia Dahn, while the Miss Photogenic went to Ms. Oby Uche.

It was a lovely weekend for the ladies with the sponsored limousine taking them wherever they want to go.
