Management of JD Fast Food has declared that it would work tirelessly to help other stakeholders in the hospitality industry to promote the industry to the outside world.

JD is certainly the place for those who want to have fun, enjoy good drinks and food while relaxing in a serene and safe environment.

The plush outfit has every facility to take care of the entertainment and relaxation needs of every Ghanaian as well as tourists that visit the joint.

Following its success in the industry, the joint, which is located on the Kasoa road, is venturing into other parts of the capital to promote local food and modernize the traditional restaurant sector.

The Chief Executive Officer of JD Group of Companies, David Sodopko, said: 'We have decided that we will take another path to see how best we can promote the Ghanaian culture and the Ghanaian food because we believe Ghana has one of the best foods in the world'.

The CEO told BEATWAVES that as part of efforts to create employment for Ghanaian musicians, his outfit provided live-band entertainment on weekends and public holidays to entertain its patrons.

He hinted that JD Restaurant was made up of different departments including a pizza joint, a bar, a restaurant which serves local and continental dishes, as well as a very spacious car park with state-of-the-art security.

He stated that apart from promoting Ghanaian music and culture, he was also working tirelessly to promote Ghanaian and African dishes to the world.

He however noted that it was the duty of all stakeholders to help promote Ghanaian and African dishes to the outside world, adding that it was on record that a large number of foreign nationals who visited Ghana on business trips or vacation always wanted to taste local dishes.

He stated that although it was not easy to operate a restaurant in Ghana, he believed that when operators equipped themselves well, with determination they would enjoy the fruit of their labour.

He advised stakeholders in the hospitality industry to give priority to building the capacities of their human resource to enable them to improve on their level of professionalism.

That, he said, would not only promote the industry in the country, but would also make the sector more competitive in the delivery of quality professional services.
