
AS PART of its efforts to support the growth of the music industry in Ghana, the management Of JD Fast Food has announced that it is ready to offer its facilities for free to any musician or event organizers who want stage a live musical concert.
The management of the fast food disclosed that twice in every month, it would organize musical concerts to create employment for the musicians and also to entertain its patrons and music fans.
It hinted the shows are meant to promote live band music, as well as encourage Ghanaian artistes to perform with live bands.
The plush and healthy environment of the joint has every facility to take care of the entertainment needs of customers, including a spacious car park and state-of-the-art sound and security equipment.
The director of the joint, J. Davis, told BEATWAVES in a chat “we the stakeholders should come together and work as a team to promote Ghanaian music in Ghana and beyond. Let's promote Ghanaian music to create employment for our musicians.”
He stated that the live concerts, which will be monthly events, are being organized to promote live band music, adding that the concept of promoting live band music is to celebrate the different music forms in Ghana, not just a particular genre of music.
He noted that JD Fast Food, which has become a household name in Accra, is working tirelessly to bring together cultural troupes from different ethnic groups in the country to perform at the joint.
With the determination to become the market leader, JD Fast Foods, which many see as one of the best fast food joints in the metropolis, continues to maintain its standard of serving tasty food.
JD Fast Food, located at Official Town on the Kasoa road, a fifteen-minute drive from Mallam Junction, serves continental dishes like fried rice with chicken, potato chips with fried chicken, charcoal-grilled and fried chicken, grilled fish with rice, and grilled fish with chips, among others.
