82nd Academy Awards Oscars Setup Credentials

Applications for Oscars Setup credentials are available online. Applications must be submitted by 6 p.m. PT on Thursday, March 4, 2010. We are not able to accept late applications.

Applications may be filled out and submitted online only.

Oscars Setup credentials provide legitimate media with access to the set-up and preparation activities taking place in and around the Hollywood & Highland Center and the Kodak Theatre beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 1 thru Sunday, March 7 at 11 a.m. At that time, the Oscars Setup credentials will be void, and security will ask all Oscars Setup credential holders to leave the restricted areas.

To request credentials, a representative from your outlet registered on the Academy press list must submit in advance the full names and ID numbers of all those to receive an Oscars Setup credential. These names may be submitted any time prior to 6 p.m. PT on Thursday, March 4, but they must be submitted at least 24 hours before the individual intends to pick up the credential.

NEW THIS YEAR: ID numbers for all credential recipients must be submitted in advance. Accepted IDs include U.S. Drivers License, U.S. Government-issued ID card, or Passport. The same photo identification must be shown in order to pick up the badge.
