SIDE-SPLITTING veteran actress Beatrice Chinery, who gained her infamous name Miliky Micool from popular TV sitcom Kejetia, is making a comeback after being missing from the silver screens for over three years.

Miliky is back in a yet-to-be released movie titled 'Wiser ThanThe King' by a new production house called Messiah Multimedia. The 34-year-old mother of two is cast as the queen mother of a well-to-do village.

Having started acting on stage in 1993 when she was part of David Dontoh's Koziekozie, Miliky has brought to bear in the movie some of her experiences in acting and movie-making. Also, she is the only known face in the production.

The rest of the cast are new faces whom, according to Messiah Multimedia, are full of promising potential to make a difference on the local movie scene.

The movie is an interesting story of mixed-feelings, betrayal, wickedness, grief, love and unity.

It is based on a true life story about two close villages in the north called Tregbui and Tagbo.

Indigenes of these villages shared almost everything in common, especially in times of hardship.

The King of Tagbo, the richer of the two, gave his only child, Princess Layler, to one of the sons of King of Tregui, Kumah. Unfortunately, Princess Layler loses both parents a few years after the marriage. Prior to their demise, King Tagbo ordered his in-law, Kumah, to be the heir to his kingdom as he did not have a son of his own. There the suspense and thrill begins.

At press conference at the Villa Garden on Wednesday, the CEO of Messiah Multimedia, Avege Edem Unity, said the movie will be released very soon.

According to him, his outfit is committed to producing quality movies to help further channel the course of the vibrant movie industry.

He took the opportunity to announce that Messiah Multimedia is holding auditions at the Faith Community Baptist School, Madina Zongo Junction, opposite Prudential Bank, on Saturday, January 23, at 9am, for roles in its next movie.
