
Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh aka who was kidnapped last week Monday along the Port Harcourt-Enugu expressway in Nigeria has been freed after six days when his family paid a N1.4m ransom.
The kidnappers had initially requested N1.5m ransom for his release. They now insist on the N100,000 balance to release his vehicle which is still in their possession.
According to nollywoodgists.com, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Segun Arinze, announced the kidnapping of last Monday evening. was said to have been in his country home in Enugu when he called his Personal Assistant, simply identified as Mr. Cino, who was in Lagos, to inform him of his intention to go to Port Harcourt.
Shortly after, another call was reportedly put across to Cino, this time by a man who claimed to be a member of a gang that had kidnapped Owoh.
He demanded a N1.5m ransom. However, the kidnappers at that time did not disclose where and when the ransom should be paid. The family of offered a ransom of N1m but the kidnappers insisted on N1.5m.
’s kidnapping is the second high-profile kidnap in the movie industry this year. Veteran actor Pete Edochie was seized and later released in August.

im just thankful to God for what he has done for NKEM,,THE MAN I LOVE TO CALL Haijiniuss.. haha i dont know if i spelled it right but who care lol..... i just want nkem's familly to know that the money they offered is nothing compared to what God is going to the amount of money that God will give back to them... as for those kidnapers they will not, never benefit for wat they did not work for....lol sorry for saying to much i just cant help the joy that i feel right now.... anyways,, long life t...
