Koforidua, April 6, GNA-The Koforidua Diocese of the Anglican Church, on Friday presented four nebulizers and 20 digital thermometers to the children's ward of the Koforidua Regional Hospital.
The nebulizers are to be used for the treatment of asthmatic attack in children.
Presenting the items on behalf of the Church, the Bishop of the Koforidua Diocese, The Right Reverend Benjamin Francis Quashie, said the gesture was to support the hospital to offer better services to children who were brought there for medical treatment.
He said it had been the desire of the church to provide the little support that it could afford to the hospital and had previously donated eye treatment equipment and some Twi Bibles to the hospital.
Rt Rev. Quashie latter prayed for the children on admission at the ward and their mothers as well as the staff.
