By Jahangir Alam Akash, Again bomb attacked has been started in Bangladesh. One was killed and other at least seven were seriously injured in a bomb attacked in Jessore on 16th September, 2009. On the other hand, state killings or extra judicial killings are going on. Another one person was killed in the name of crossfire in Khulna. And the officers of RAB are accusing with various allegation including murder, extortion, threat one after another. Source: the daily Sangbad, the daily Star and the New Age, 17.9.2009.

Sources said, unidentified criminals sprayed bomb and bullets on Chawgachha upazila Awami League office leaving its organizing secretary killed and seven others injured on 16th September, 2009 at night in Jessore. The deceased, Imamul Hasan Tutul, was also a former chairman of Pashapol Union Parishad of the upazila.Witnesses said a gang of 4 to 5 armed men reached the spot at around 10:30pm and left after bombing and firing several rounds. Among the injured, upazila Chhatra League President Shariful Islam was admitted to upazila health complex while the rest were rushed to Jessore General Hospital. The body of Tutul was taken to the upazila heath complex. Police are yet to ascertain the cause behind the attack.

Sources told, an accused outlawed party leader was killed in a 'shootout' between his cohorts and police at Gutudia village under Dumuria upazila in Khulna on 16th September, 2009. The killed Mashubar Halder, 40, son of Noresh Halder of Gutudia village, in Khulna district.

A fruit seller filed an attempted murder case with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court, Dhaka against Nuruzzaman, and an assistant commissioner of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-3) on 16th September, 2009.

Sources said, Ameer Ali Mir of Chunarughat of Habigonj district filed the case on behalf of the victim Lutfar Rahman, fruit seller of Khilgaon rail gate bazar. After the hearing, Metropolitan Magistrate Julfiker Hayat recorded the statement of the complainant, took the charges into cognisance and ordered a judicial inquiry into the incident. The case statement said the RAB official in plain clothes went to buy some fruits from the victim's shop at Khilgaon rail gate at about 2:00pm on September 7, 2009. At one stage they locked into an altercation over the prices of fruits and the Rab official beat Lutfar indiscriminately that threatened his life. Following the incident, Lutfar was seriously injured and was admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for treatment, the complainant added.

In Bangladesh bomb attacking was started on 1999. On 6th March, 1999 was happened gross bomb attacked on the national conference of Bangladesh Udichi Shilpi Goshthi in Jessore. After this many bomb and Grenade attacked were happened in Bangladesh till in 2005. At least 178 peoples (Women, Man, Children) were killed including justice, lawyer, journalist, and political leader by bomb- Grenade attacked from 1999 to 2005. With Jessore incident now the killed lists stand on 179. In the same time at least 1,550 were injured by same way. Last Grenade attacked was happened on 20th February, 2009 in Gagipur SP office. In that incident at least 12 were injured including some journalists. After that, on 16th September, 2009 was happened bomb attacked in Chawgachha Awami League office in Jessore. Who were the attackers, Islamic militant or outlawed or other terrorists group? Still hasn't identified.
