Rwanda's AI-powered healthcare helps community workers treat more patients

Cuts to international aid are putting pressure on Rwanda's healthcare system, prompting the government to explore innovative ways to support health workers.

In Mpinga Village, community health worker Niyonsaba Julie has been using new technology to help her do her job. She says that before the technology was introduced, health workers had to carry heavy books containing patients' records and could see only a few patients a day.
