Ghana Premier League side Dreams Football Club (FC) has announced that it has completed the signing of Abel Manomey.
The club had a fairly good start to the 2019/2020 football season before their campaign in the top-flight division dragged as a result of the lack of a potent striker.
In a bid to solve that problem, the Dawu-based club has sealed the signing of experienced forward Abel Manomey on a 2-year contract.
A club statement said: “Dreams Football Club is glad to announce that Striker Abel Manomey has made his relationship with Dreams official after signing a two-year contract with the club. This comes after the player passed his mandatory medical assessment last week.
“Dreams announced earlier this month they had agreed personal terms with the former Olympics goal poacher, subject to medical assessment.
“Abel has now passed the mandatory medical assessment and has officially signed a two-year contract with the club”.
Dreams FC sit 13th of the standings of the Ghana Premier League but hopes to climb higher should the season be continued when the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis in the country ends.
