
Reports reaching modernghana this morning indicates that, Kumasi Asante Kotoko earned a proceeds of GH639,000 from their second leg tier against Coton Sporst de Garoua last Sunday in the Caf Confederations Cup match.
An executive board member confirmed it on a Kumasi base radio station this morning that, the club earned GH639,000 gross gate proceeds from the third qualification round game that was played onSunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi against the Cameroonian giants, Coton Sports.
The gate proceeds according to him was a club record since the attendance on last sunday was massive. He also said that the gross gate proceeds was made possible because of the strict measurse that the club executive board put in place last Sunday. The net received was GH438,000 after some deductiosn were made.
The second leg encounter ended in a 2 -1 score line in Baba Yara sports stadium last Sunday which made Kumasi Asante Kotoko to qualify to the "money zone" of the competition.
