Saddick Adams Pledges To End Playing Career At Tano Bofoakwa

AshantiGold SC striker, Saddick Adams has pledged to end his playing at hometown club, Tano Bofoakwa.

The former Atletico Madrid man who grew up in the Brong Ahafo region has been a long time fan of the Division One club, revealing his desire to finish his career with the club.

The 28-year-old played for Bofoakwa in an exhibition game against rivals B.A United over the weekend and he reiterated his desire to return home and feature for the green and whites.

“Definitely it is a must,” he told Footballmadeinghana.com.

“Of course I have that in mind to play for my boyhood club before hanging my boots but nothing is decided now. ”

Saddick Adams began his career with Ashantigold and rose to prominence after he was invited to the national U-17 team, the Black Starlets, where he grabbed global headlines with his four goals at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2007.

His performances earned him a move to Spanish side Atletico Madrid but his stay in Spain was cut short following a dispute in contracts he signed prior to the World Cup with Tunisia side Etoile Du Sahel

He went on to play for several clubs abroad before returning to Ghana to play for Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko. He scored a first-half hat-trick in Asante Kotoko's FA Cup triumph against Hearts of Oak two seasons ago.
