The newly signed on coach for Okwawu United,Dan Owusu, has said that with the necessary incentives and motivation he could help the team to go places.
Speaking to the Graphic last Sunday immediately after his team's encounter with Hasaacas which they won 3-0,Owusu, a former Black Stars striker and three-time goaking called on Okwawu citizens both home and abroad to contribute meaningfully in cash and in kind so as to save the team from the doldrums.
Dan Owusu who has been in Cameroun for the past six years coaching a first division team, said he was committed to exhibiting his coaching potential to the full and stressed that what he needed was support.
He noted that many of the players in the team were young and technically good and therefore assured to build them physically and sharpen their scoring ability.
On the mid-week match between Okwawu and Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi tomorrow,Owusu admitted that it was going to be a difficult match but assured to work very hard to take the three points.
He disclosed that he took over as head coach of the team last Monday and was of the hope that if the players would continue to adhere to his instructions they could do better than they did against Hasaacas last Sunday.
