Ghanaian forward Elvis Manu scored a consolation for Akhisarspor in their 3-2 defeat against Istanbul Basaksehir in the Turkish Spor Toto League on Monday night.
The 24-year-old joined the Green and Black lads on a three-year deal after Genclerbirligi were relegated from the top flight league.
The former Feyenoord hitman has failed to endear himself to the side's faithful after failing to gel in their opening two games.
But on Monday, Manu came to the fore by hitting his first goal for the club in their 3-1 loss at Istanbul Basaksehir.
The Dutch-born forward cancelled out Edin Visca's 9th-minute strike before further goals from Riad Bajic and Manuel da Costa condemned Safet Susic's outfit to their second defeat in three games.
