
Ghanaian and Mawyawadi FC defender Samuel Kojo Abbey says he has set sights on becoming the Best Defender of the Year for the just ended 2017-2018 Myanmar National League II season.
The 19-year-old has been impressive for the Yangon side this season.
Abbey played 15 matches with 3 goals to his name.
“It is always an honour when I get nominations and hoping to win this prestigious award. ” Abbey told reporters.

The former Okwahu United and Kitengela Shooters player signed a one-half-year deal with Myanmar MNL II side in February 2017.

Mawyawadi FC is a Burmese football club, founded in 2012. This is the 2nd MNL-2 season of Mawyawadi FC. The club is owned by business man U Shwe Tin. They are currently 5th on the table of the 2017-2018 MNL II.
