Ghanaian forward Nicholas Gyan has picked his first career league title with Tanzanian side Simba FC.
Gyan joined Simba FC midway through last season from Ghana Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs and quickly cemented his place in the team with impressive performances.
The 28-year-old kept up his great form for the Reds as they inflicted a 1-0 defeat on Ndanda FC at the Benjamin Mpaka Stadium to win the league title.
Gyan was a member of the Black Stars B that were preparing for the 2018 CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso before his switch to Tanzania.
He has joined the Ghanaian players abroad league winning club which includes Majeed Waris, Kassim Nuhu, Derrick Luckassen, Grejohn Kyei and Razak Brimah.
