Teenage strike Dauda Mohammed became the first Asante Kotoko player to score a hat-trick in the Ghana Premier League in NINE years.
Eric Bekoe was the last Porcupine Warriors player to net a treble and that was against Great Olympics in December, 2007 when Kotoko won 5-0 in Kumasi.
Dauda scored first from the spot in Sunday's 4-2 win over Techiman City at the Baba Yara Stadium.
His second was cool finish when goalkeeper Richmond Ayi's horrible clearance fortuitously dropped in front of him.
Dauda added the third just two minutes after the break when he fired home with his weaker left foot from inside the box.
He is the club's leading scorer with seven goals.
