Kumasi, Dec 31, GNA - The Kumasi Catholic Diocesan Hospital Pharmacy, producers of 'Kuuka' purified drinking water on Thursday presented seven boxes of sachet water valued at 500,000 cedis to Kumasi Asante Kotoko football club as a motivation towards the club's preparation as they face Accra Hearts of Oak in the first leg confederation Cup final in Accra on Sunday.

The donation was also in fulfilment of the company's corporate responsibility to the people.

Mr Ben Oppong Tawiah, Managing Director of the Diocesan Hospital Pharmacy who made the presentation to the club at its camping base at Georgia Hotel, cautioned the players to avoid such vices and attitudes that could jeopardise their football career.

He therefore asked them to be disciplined at all times to ensure that they realised their potentials.

Mr Tawiah said the pharmacy was negotiating with the Kotoko management to go into partnership and use the club's logo on its sachet water as a means of raising money for the club.

Joe Hendricks, captain of Kotoko who received the items on behalf of his colleagues expressed their appreciation to the pharmacy for its kind gesture and said the water will go a long way in motivating them to achieve victory on Sunday.

"Moral is very high and every player is committed to the team's cause. We are determined and in a good mood to win the cup that we lost two years ago and called on all supporters of the club to give them the needed massive support on Sunday".
