Otumfou has been instrumental in Asante Kotoko's success and recently bought the team a new bus which boosted them ahead of their victory against Hearts of Oak.
Barimma Kwaku Duah, as he was known before ascending the throne in 1999, succeeded the late Otumfuo Opoku Ware II.
