FC Nordsjælland and Right to Dream have already begun to create their common history. Their youth teams and coaches have visited each other, mixing with one another both in Denmark and Ghana, with the teams playing together in a couple international tournaments.
To create a more distinct thread between FC Nordsjælland and Right to Dream, Farum Park will now be renamed Right to Dream Park, to underscore the shared history to the rest of the world.
Administrative Director Ole Palmå stated:
'I have personally spent the last four months trying to understand Right to Dream and their history. I have visited Right to Dream in Ghana and USA to get an even deeper understanding of the story that we are set to build together in the future. We will create a common platform that clearly connects FC Nordsjælland and Right to Dream and a presence of our common history on the Danish football scene and later on the global stage.
'We have a vision of innovative thinking and we believe that by naming the stadium the Right to Dream Park this will give us a stronger profile. Right to Dream Park will be part of the first steps to build a strong global brand.
'There must be a clear common thread between our two academies. Right to Dream Park will be the first stadium where our young talents dream to play. We want everyone to dream big, and we will give opportunities to all young talents who dare to dream and who will fight to realize their dreams.
'Right to Dream Park will be the place where our season cardholders, fans and partners will be proud to come to support and see the future stars.'
Farum Park got its name back in 1999, when the stadium was built. The stadium sits 10,300 spectators, and the new name 'Right to Dream Park' will be used for the first time at the Alka Superliga match on Sunday May 1 2016, against Randers FC.
