George Ainsley was the first full time coach hired, C.K Gyamfi is the most successful coach, whereas Ratomir Dujkovic was the first coach to qualify Ghana to the World Cup. Here is the history of Black Stars coaches : George Ainsley: The first Black Stars coach (1958-59)

Djolberg, the Swede and the Hungarian, Ember prepared the team for a home grown coach C.K Gyamfi, whom Djolberg coached in his playing days to take over. The Golden era under C.K Gyamfi (1963-65)
