Techiman City will officially take part in this season Ghana Premier League after the Appeals Committee overturned the Ethics Committee's decision to demote the Club to Division two.
On February 3, 2016, the Ethics Committee in their ruling demoted Techiman City and Wa African Utd to the country's third-tier league after the two clubs were found guilty for match-fixing and bribery.
However, Techiman City in order to protect their premiership status filed for stay of execution and appealed against the Ethics Committee ruling.
And a letter released on Friday February 19 February indicates that the Techiman-based Club has been cleared of the bribery allegation leveled against them that informed the Appeals committee to demote them to the division 2 of Ghana football league, hence could officially feature in the 2015/16 domestic top-flight.
Techiman City will make their premier league debut at home to Berekum Chelsea on Sunday 21 February, 2016.
