The Black Queens have drawn 1-1 with their Cameroonian counterparts in the 2016 Olympics games qualifying first leg tie played in Yaounde on Saturday afternoon.
Skipper Mercy Myles gave Ghana the lead in the 25th minute before Christine Manie got the equalizer for Cameroon in the 54th minute of the match.
The senior female National team will host the Idomitable Lioness in the second leg match which will be played in a fortnight in Ghana.
The match which will be the last stage of the qualifiers will see the winner qualifying to the Olympics Games in Rio de Janeiro next year.
The Black Queens made it to this stage of the qualifiers after beating Egypt 4-1 on aggregate scores.
