Holland U21 have handed a call-up to Ghana prospect Elvis Manu for their European Cup qualifying game against Slovakia on Monday, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The 21-year-old receives the call-up as replacement for Williem II attacker Terell Ondaan who has pulled out of the squad due to injury.
The latest news will come as disappointment for Ghana who are hoping to cap Manu in the future if he maintains his form at Feyenoord.
Dutch U21 coach Adrie Koster has been following the progress and immediately looked towards Manu when Ondaan suffered the injury.
Manu has been in top shape for Feyenoord in early season and has scored four goals in all competitions including once in the Europa League, a goal that helped Feyenoord to reach the Group Stages of the competition.
