
Members of the Ghana Athletes Association, comprising track and field athletes, both local and foreign based voted to elect new executives for the 2004-2005 season. Elections were conducted online through email voting. Special numbers and pass-codes were assigned to voters to eliminate any biases. Votes were confidential and secure. Results are as followed: Chairman: Andrew Owusu: 87.5% Albert Amonoo: 12.5% Secretary: Christian Nsiah: 75% Eric Nkansah: 12.5% Monica Twun: 12.5% Treasurer: Abdul Majeed: 37.5% Vida Anim: 37.5% Emmanuel Tuffour: 25% Fundraiser: Tanko Briamah: 50% Wisdom Loh: 37.5% Mark Awere: 12.5% The Athletes Association extends its appreciation to all the outgoing executives especially Professor Francis Dodoo under whose leadership we came of age and to Aziz Zakari for his hard work and resolve.
