Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has picked up a fresh injury while in action for AC Milan against Genoa in the Italian Serie A on Saturday.
The 28-year-old was replaced by Slovenian international Valter Birsa just few seconds into the second-half due to an injury he suffered in the first-half.
Details of the injury are still scanty as Milan doctors will conduct scan on Monday to assess the extent of the damage.
Muntari becomes the second Ghanaian player to suffer injury after Andre Ayew who has been ruled out for up to eight weeks.
