Ghanaian Ibrahim Tanko chalked his biggest success as a coach by helping Cameroon qualify for the 2014 World Cup finals on Sunday afternoon.
The former Borrusia Dortmund striker is assistant coach to Volker Finke as the Indomitable Lions secured their seventh finals qualification berth.
Veteran midfielder Jean Makoun scored twice as Cameroon earned a 4-1 home win over Tunisia in Yaounde.
Makoun took the tie away from Tunisia after the visitors had clawed their way back into contention from a two-goal deficit at half-time.
Ahmed Akaichi's stunning left footed volley in the 50th mine revived Tunisia's hopes at 2-1 down, meaning they needed another goal to snatch qualification on the away goals rule after a goalless draw in last month's first leg.
A third minute goal from Pierre Webo broke the aggregate deadlock before Benjamin Moukandjo's dribbling effort from the left in the 30th minute put Cameroon 2-0 up at half-time.
His goal was a gem as he carved his way through three challenges before perfectly slotting home.
But the crowd's confident mood suddenly went sour after Akaichi's effort although the expectant chase for a second goal from Tunisia never came as they retreated back into a cautious approach.
Makoun's header midway through the second half put Cameroon back 3-1 ahead as his rose at the near post to turn home a corner, followed soon after a horror miss from Moukandjo.
Samuel Eto'o, who played a strange role out on the right wing, hit the upright in the last three minutes and Makoun reacted quickest to tuck away the rebound for Cameroon's fourth.
They join the Ivory Coast and Nigeria, who both qualified on Saturday, as African representative in Brazil with two more places to be decided on Tuesday.
Cameroon have now qualified for an African record seventh time to the World Cup finals, having been the first side from the continent to reach the quarter-finals in Italy in 1990.
