Kojo Poku has announced that he would not play for King Faisal again, because of the unruly behaviour shown towards him by the chairman Alhaji Kalim Grunsah. Meanwhile, the player has not reported to meteors camp in Obuasi claming to be sick, but meteors Portuguese coach Barreto has given today as the deadline for every player to report to camp. He said he was on the verge of communicating the state of his health to the Black Meteors authorities to enable him seek medical treatment.

Looking dispirited, he revealed that he would in no way play with the mindset of losing and therefore appealed to the supporters to remain calm and support him in prayers to enable him to return to his normal fitness and scoring form.

In an interview with this paper, the Interim Chairman of King Faisal Supporters Union, Mr. Michael Kumi hinted that the executives of the Union would be meeting with Alhaji Grunsah to suggest to him to offload the player as early as possible before any nasty happenings occur.

Kumi added that ever since news broke that Kwadwo Poku was being baited by Asante Kotoko, and later on that a foreign contract has been on the cards for the youngster, his performance has not been any thing to be enthused about.

Meanwhile the coach of King Faisal, Hans-Dieter Schmidt has refused to comment on the supporters’ behaviour except to state that Kwadwo Poku must have his sights fixed on training regularly and relegate other issues to the background at least, for now, if he is to restore confidence in the supporters.
