New Edubiase President Abdul Salam Yakubu has confirmed reaching an agreement to sell Abeiku Ainooson to Asante Kotoko but cannot say the same of Asiedu Attorbrah.
Edubiase accepted to sell the key duo in principle following an improved official offer from the Premier League champions.
The deal was however subject to the players agreeing to personal terms and passing a mandatory club medical.
While Kotoko have concluded talks with Ainooson and are only awaiting for the player to pass a medical before signing the dotted lines, Attorbrah's is far from complete as the midfielder weights an offer from American club Columbus Crew.
“We have concluded talks with Kotoko over Abeiku Ainooson, it is onloy left for his card to be released to Kotoko,” Yakubu told Accra-based Asempa FM.
“Attorbrah is however considering options with an offer from Columbus Crew in America.
“So that deal is not yet cast in stone and we wait to see what happens.”
