Defender John Boye has been passed fit to play for Rennes in their French Ligue 1 trip to Bordeaux on Sunday.
The 25-year-old has won the battle over a hamstring injury that ruled him out of Ghana's 1-1 draw with China in an international friendly in Xi'an on Wednesday.
Boye joined Rennes' training on Wednesday morning and he claims there has been considerable improvement in his health.
“I have made a drastic recovery and will play against Bordeaux on Sunday,” Boye told MTNFootball.com
With Nigeria international defender Onyekachi Apam ruled out for three weeks, Rennes coach Frederic Antonetti will welcome the return of the Ghana centre-back.
He came off the bench to replace Onyekachi after 24 minutes in their 1-0 defeat at home to Olympique Lyonnais last Sunday.
