THE TWO most glamorous clubs in the country, Kotoko and Hearts, have sent consolatory messages to Kessben FC following the unexpected death of their player, Bartholomew Yeboah.
Yeboah died a day after he collapsed in Kessben FC's 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Liberty last Sunday.
The entire Kotoko team, led by Head Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin, on Tuesday morning stormed the Aseda House at Adum, owned by Kessben FC owner Kwabena Kesse, to show their support.
The Kotoko team, after the day's morning training, paid the visit wearing their training kits to mourn with their city rivals who are in turbulent times.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Paa Kwesi Fabin grieved over the death of the young boy whom he described as promising and a huge potential.
He said Yeboah's death is a great blow to Ghana soccer so he called for God's protection and comfort for the bereaved family including the entire Kessben FC team.
Kotoko, he noted, would contribute actively to ensure that a befitting funeral was accorded the young player.
On his part, Alhaji Hearts sent his condolences and those of the Hearts family to the departed player, whom he claimed would have been a great asset for Ghana soccer in future.
Alhaji Hearts said Yeboah's death is a disaster to Ghana soccer, calling on all clubs in the country to rally behind Kessben FC in theses trying moments.
He entreated soccer-loving Ghanaians to pray for the soul of the dead player, promising that Hearts will contribute to make his funeral a memorable one.
