Herbert Addo had hinted his desire to extend his stay at Aduana Stars if his current contract expires at the end of the season.
The former Asante Kotoko coach has transformed the newly-promoted side in their debut season in the top flight.
Aduana posted a narrow 1-0 victory over Eleven Wise on Sunday to establish a four-point advantage at the top.
Addo forsees a fruitful working relationship with the Dormaa Ahenkro side.
"It will be a great opportunity to work with such a group of talented youngsters who are ready and willing to make a name for themselves," the experienced trainer told Ghanasoccernet.com
"I signed a one-year contract and from all indications both parties are seriously considering extending the relationship and I am keen to see to that.
"Like I have been saying all along, we are taking one match after the other and we are in no rush to at all."
The league leaders entertain Great Olympics at the El-Wak Stadium on Sunday.
