Essipong, (W/R) Feb. 7, GNA - Sekondi Hasaacas on Sunday beat visiting Berekum Arsenals 1-0 in a Glo Premier League match played at the Sekondi Sports Stadium at Essipong.

Hasaacas opened attack straight from kick off and kept pressurizing Arsenals for about 20 minutes before Arsenals came into the spotlight and counter-attacked.

Arsenals continued to play gamely while Hasaacas were on top of proceedings until the end of first half.

Back from the recess, Hasaacas Enoch Eyison scored the lone goal in the 78th minute while they were frantically looking for goal in the match which was well contested by both sides.

Arsenals fought back in search of an equalizer but Hasaacas who were eager to win the match tightened up their defense and prevented the visitors from getting any goal.

The ding-dong pattern of play continued until in the 85th minute when Arsenals had a breakthrough in the penalty area but the resultant kick missed the net.
