Assin Fosu (C/ R), Dec. 16, GNA - The district magistrates' court at Assin-Foso has
sentenced an unemployed man, Alex Dagarti, to a fine of GH¢ 200.00 for stealing a goat
valued at GH¢ 60 belonging to one Madam Victoria Ofori.
The convict pleaded guilty to stealing and will go to prison for nine months in default.
Prosecuting, Inspector Peter Attah told the court presided that on August 21, Madam
Ofori was asleep when she heard a goat bleating behind her window.
He said when she went out to find out what was happening, she found Dargati dragging
the goat away and raised the alarm and he was arrested.
