Ghana's Laryea Kingston is unlikely to appeal against a fine of four weeks wages meted out by Scottish side Hearts last week for alleged breach of discipline.

Representatives of the player insist the acrimony between him and manager Csaba Laszlo has been resolved and that co-operation is now a priority for all concerned.

In a meeting between the pair at Riccarton yesterday, the Ghanaian internationalist was fined four weeks salary for breaking club rules, which could ultimately cost him as much as £60,000.

The sanction related to a heated argument between Laszlo and Kingston on the Hearts team coach following last month's 2-2 draw with St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.

Kingston made it clear what he thought of Laszlo in front of other players and has now paid the price, although he remains available for selection despite the financial punishment.

The altercation in Perth is unrelated to Laszlo's discontent over the player's international commitments, although there is little doubt that his insistence on playing for Ghana against Sudan and Japan earlier this month helped bring the issue to a head.

Kingston would remain a Hearts player despite the manager having lost patience with what he sees as a lack of commitment at club level.

Senior Tynecastle officials expect the 28-year-old to accept his punishment and move on.

The midfielder's agent, Ayrat Imamov, stressed that all lines of communication between player, manager and the Ghanaian Football Association should be positive from here on.

"Over the last two days we had full discussions with the management of the club and the coach. We found a normal solution," he said.

"We don't want any contradiction between the club and the Ghana national team. We and the player are in full legality to Hearts.

"I thought that the fine could be less, but they gave a four-week fine and this is their decision. I cannot answer for definite if Larry will appeal or not but I think not. It's our decision to go on in a positive way with the club. We know Larry wants to help Hearts."

Imamov refuted suggestions that Kingston is not fully committed to Hearts and insisted his client had nothing against Laszlo.

"He doesn't have any problem with the coach. He was 100 per cent committed to Hearts one year ago, yesterday, today and tomorrow," he continued.

"He has had a conversation with the coach. He is a very strong and professional coach and Larry is a professional player. He can be useful for this team. I hope the coach will use him. He is ready to play at any moment."
