The Ghana Football Association has invited 24 locally-based players representing a Black Satellites team "B" side for an international friendly against Bulgaria on 12 August in Sofia.
The current Black Satellites team are preparing for a similar exercise against UAE in Switzerland on the same date.
The list is dominated by players of the Black Starlets team that were knocked out of the African Under-17 Championship qualifiers last year.
The team will begin training on Monday under coach Frimpong Manso who was assistant coach of the Black Starlets.
This assignment is expected to give the next Under-20 team the needed exposure.
