Afedzie faces Hearts wrath

By ghanasoccernet.com

Hearts of Oak are prepared to ready to report midfielder Stanley Afedzie to Caf after the player absconded to South Africa without the club's knowledge.

Afedzie was re-signed for US$ 6,000 in March for the second half of the season but has played three matchs for the side.

Hearts are ready to punish the player and have vowed stop the playerfrom signing for a club in the South Africa Premier Soccer League.

''We dont think Afedzie has shown any respect to the club because wehave an existing contract with him but he has refused to respect it." an anonymous Hearts official is quoted as saying in the 90 minutesnewspaper.

"We have made several calls to him but it seems he's not ready toreturn therefore we have sent a final warning to him to honour hiscontract or be dragged to Caf."

Afedzie had a turbulent spell at Libyan side Al Ittihad and was seeking a turnaround in his career.
