
GHANA WANTS TO WIN AGAIN The confederation of African Football has named Ivorian referee Doue Nomandiez Desire to take-charge of Ghana's game against DR Congo in Sunday's final of the inaugural African Nations Championship.
Desire has been fourth official for the Zimbabwe-Libya final Group B match in Abidjan and also during's DR Congo's semi-final clash against Zambia last Wednesday.
He was one of the eight listed referees selected by Caf for the CHAN tournament.
Desire's appointment should serve as a compensation for the home crowd after local Elephants were eliminated after the Group matches
