ARTHUR HOPES TO BE LUCKY Ghana youth international Alfred Arthur claims he was watched by Black Stars coach Rajevac Milovan at the weekend in the Serbian Premier League.
The 21-year-old left-back joined Serbian Superliga side FK Jagodina on a free transfer this term after a turbulent first stint in Europe.
He was refused a contract renewal at Austrian side Wacker Innsbruck after they were plunged from the top-flight league
The former AshantiGold player is excited by Milovan and hopes he made the grades for a national team return.
" I was told he was around and that was motivation enough for him," Arthur told Ghanasoccernet.com
" I played well and I'm sure I have convinced him and given him an option for the left-back in the Black Stars."
He made his debut for the Black Stars in a friendly international against Brazil on 27 March last year in Sweden as a substitute.
Jagodina are now 7th on the 12-team league table 10 matches.
