
Ghana's second choice goalkeeper William Amamoo has made a bright start to his loan spell at Egyptian Premie League side Etesalat.
Amamoo kept a clean sheet in their first pre-season game in a 2-0 win over Arab Contractors.
He joined Etesalat on a six-month loan spell from English Championship side Coventry City for a fee reported to be around US$ 1 million.
Amamoo is facing difficulties with the aquisition of a work permit that allow him play in England.
He got married to his Swedish fiance, Susana, in Accra last week and that can facilitate in quest for a Swedish passport.
The Egyptian side are expected to unveil Amamoo next week before the start of the new season.
Amamoo was second on the pecking order for the Black Stars during the opening four matches of the joint 2010 Nations Cup/World Cup qualifiers.
