The Ghanaian duo of Emmanuel Clottey and Alfred Arthur arrived in Austria on Thursday to join new club FC Wacker Innsbruck.
After dalays and reports of missing documents, the players were met at the Innsbruck Airport by the club's chairman,Gerhard Stocker, board member Johannes Marsoner and sporting director Helmut Kraft.
They were immediately sent to the municipal authorities for the processing of their papers and are expected to undergo medical tests on Friday.
The stress continues for the two as they travel to Salzburg for their visa before they join FC Wacker's training camp in Turkey.
On Saturday, Clottey and Arthur are expected to play in Wacker's pre-season game against Bayern Leverkusen in Schwaz,Austria before leaving for Belek,Turkey.
The 20-year-old Emmanuel Clottey was the topscorer in the Ghanaian league last season and is expected to bolster their attack ahead of the new season.
The 21-year-old Alfred Arthur,a member of the Olympic men's football team,has been touted as the best to fit the team's left-back position.
