Hearts of Oak's Stanley Afedzie has joined Libyan giants Al Ittihad for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old midfielder has a signed a three year deal with the Tripoli-based side. He is one of the four players snapped up this January transfer window.
Afedzie is eligible to play for the club after 31 January in the club's campaign for this year's MTN CAF Champions League.
'' They expressed interest interest in the player and there were some negotiations for some time. He went there, had some trials and then signed the deal,'' Administrative manager, Ashford Tetteh-Oku told Ghanasoccernet
He joined the Phobians from Liberty Professionals two years ago and became a key member of the Phobian set up.
Ittihad will play the winner of either Stade Malian or Club Desportivo 1'de Agosto of Angola in this year's MTN CAF Champions League.
The club were semi-finalists in the 2007 Champions League, the first Libyan club in the 11-year competition.
Ittihad have won the Libyan Premier League for a record 13 times.
