
The 2026-27 Ghana Premier League season gets under way this weekend as all 18 clubs begin their campaigns, with three promoted sides making their top-flight bows.
The opening round of fixtures will be played across the country on Saturday and Sunday, with kick-offs scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
The season begins on Saturday at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema, where Vision FC host Young Apostles.
Sunday's action features several standout fixtures, including Hearts of Oak's home clash with Berekum Chelsea at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Newly promoted Debibi United face an immediate test against Asante Kotoko at Berekum Golden City Park, while fellow debutants Port City FC and FC AshantiGold meet in an all-promoted encounter at Nana Boamah Darko Park.
Elsewhere, Basake Holy Stars host Swedru All Blacks at the AAK II Sports Arena, FC Samartex welcome Karela United to the Nsenkyire Arena, Heart of Lions take on Aduana FC in Kpando, and Bechem United entertain defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
One fixture has been postponed, with Dreams FC's meeting against Medeama SC rescheduled because of Medeama's involvement in the CAF Champions League.
